Fun 4 You!
Fun 4 You Activity Days are available for children aged from 0-11.
Deaf, hard of hearing and deafened children are welcome and also children with deaf parents. Any hearing brothers or sisters that want to join are welcome.
Fun 4 You provides many different exciting community based activities such as trips to science museums, indoor play centres and many more.
Parents are welcome to drop off their children or stay in and join in the fun and meet other parents.
Fun 4 You also provides a new one to one support service within the community. [sonus] can provide a community support worker to help with communication and make sure your child is confidently included into their chosen activity.
This can be any activity your child is interested in.
For example if your child has always wanted to join the cubs or brownies, but has been put off because of communication issues, then [sonus] supply a communication support worker.
Or if your child uses oral communication, but can't access activities where hearing aids and implants have to be removed, such as swimming lessons or trampolining, then again, [sonus] will be able to supply a community support worker to help.
Fun 4 You welcomes D/deaf and hearing volunteers to come along and take part in the fun.
