Welcome to the Youth Department!
The Youth Department is available for young people from age 11- 25.

We have many projects such as:


Driving days
Taught by BSL aware instructors. Do you have problems understanding the jargon of driving?
Do you not understand your driving instructor?
Driving days are available for ages 11- 25 to help make driving easier for the future.


DeafCooks
DeafCooks is taught by a Deaf qualified chef. We make lots of exciting foods such as soups, curries, cakes and many more!
DeafCooks sessions are £2 for each session and you get to take the food home!
Do you want to learn how to cook? Have a problem with reading recipes?
Come along to DeafCooks!


Term activities
Activities are run during school holidays. Activities such as Thorpe Park, Art and music Workshops, day trips to London, Basingstoke and many more!!

Role Models

The Role Model Project is where a deaf adult will visit you in college and share their life experiences. They are there for any questions that you may have.


RAD “full potential”
Residential weekends that help young people to reach their full potential. Would you like to meet other deaf people? Challenge yourself? Gain your confidence? The residential have
activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, self defence workshop, river rafting and many more!!

What do you want? Do you want a youth club? More activities? Social outings?
